Recently, Calvert Treatment Facility of Maryland partnered with Rehab Centers to help get the word out about addiction treatment and recovery. Rehab Centers is proud to call Calvert Treatment Facility and the team of treatment specialists part of the Rehab Centers family of service providers.

About Calvert Treatment Facility

Calvert Treatment Facility provides residential substance abuse treatment for adults. With a minimum stay of 28 days, the drug treatment program at Calvert Treatment Facility has been recognized by the state of Maryland as having the highest success rate for clients who complete the entire 28 days when compared to similar programs in the state. Established in 1985, the program was initially designed for DWI offenders but over time was expanded to include residential treatment for alcohol addiction and various drug addictions.

Residential Treatment Services Provided

Calvert Treatment Facility provides a full range of drug and alcohol rehabilitation services for adults including individual and group counseling, life skills training, counseling for couples and education for families. Specialized models are provided for the prevention of relapse and career counseling as well as work therapy are also provided as part of the treatment regimen. As with all residential treatment facilities, Calvert Treatment Facility provides around the clock supervision to all patients.

Calvert Treatment Facility provides on-site testing for HIV. There is a psychiatrist and psychiatric social worker on-site to provide psychological counseling and care. Neuropsychological evaluations are also provided at the facility. For continuing care treatment, Calvert Treatment Facility offers referral to vocational rehabilitation, trauma treatment and social services as well as a range of other outside resources for assistance and treatment.
