Some people don’t even realize that their drinking has become a problem until it’s too late. Whether it’s just a few drinks at the end of each day, you drink all day everyday or you only drink when you go out with friends, you could suffer from a serious drinking problem. Don’t ignore the signs and symptoms of a serious alcoholism disorder. If you answer yes to any of the following questions you should consider seeking help at an alcohol rehab center before you hit rock bottom and realize that it’s too late to completely render the situation.

Signs of a Drinking Problem

Answering yes to any one of the below questions does not guarantee that you are an alcoholic nor does it guarantee that you have a serious drinking problem, but it does warrant the need to seek further help.

  • Have you ever been late to work because you were drinking or because you drank the night before?
  • Has drinking ever caused you to miss an appointment?
  • Are your friends or family members worried about you because of the drinking?
  • Have your family members or friends asked you to stop drinking?
  • Do you feel hungover after a night of drinking?
  • Have you ever had a drink to get rid of a headache that results from too much drinking the previous night?
  • Do you drink alone?
  • Do you keep drinking until all the alcohol is gone or until you pass out whichever comes first?
